Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. – Alpha Omega Sigma / F.S. Chapter stands firm in full support of the National Anti-Hazing Campaign and remain committed to upholding the values of Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service in a hazing-free environment.

National Anti-Hazing Campaign

​

In 2012, our national headquarters launched an Anti-Hazing Campaign designed to eradicate hazing and protect Sigma’s legacy. This initiative focuses on education, prevention, and accountability, ensuring that all brothers understand the serious consequences of hazing.

As part of this campaign, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. provides the following:

• Anti-Hazing Video – A visual presentation on hazing prevention and Sigma’s stance

• Educational Workshops – Facilitated by national leadership to promote awareness

• Participant Workbook – A resource to reinforce learning and reflection

• Post-Training Test – A required assessment to verify understanding

• Anti-Hazing Pledge – A formal commitment signed by all participants

Workshop Requirement & Compliance

The General Board mandates that all chapters complete an Anti-Hazing Awareness Workshop before Membership Intake Process (MIP) approval. While Alpha Omega Sigma / F.S. Chapter does not conduct this training, we ensure that all members comply with national requirements and verify their participation.

All brothers must:

• Attend the National Anti-Hazing Awareness Workshop

• Log into BluPrint to complete the Anti-Hazing Acknowledgment Pledge Form

• Fulfill all compliance requirements before engaging in MIP activities

Our Stance: Zero Tolerance for Hazing

​

Hazing has no place in Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. or in Alpha Omega Sigma / F.S. Chapter. We hold ourselves accountable to the highest standards of leadership, mentorship, and brotherhood—free from harm, intimidation, or misconduct.
